What is a listing?

The listing describes your product and contains your sales arguments. The “texts” in your listing are weighted differently for the algorithm and are of major importance to Amazon’s search engine A9. That’s why all of your listing has a huge impact on your product’s relevance and whether it is ever found / listed or deemed relevant by Amazon at all.

Product Images

The Product Title

The product title contains the key information and keywords to be properly indexed and found by Amazon.
It is important that you excite the customer with the right words and clear advantages and unique selling points (USPs) that make up your product, and encourage them to make a purchase decision. We make sure your title is legible, appealing, contains the most relevant keywords, and adheres to Amazon’s policies. For example, it is now mandatory to include his brand name in the title.

ATTENTION: To be correctly listed by Amazon, your title must not exceed 200 bytes, including spaces (insert your title here and see how many bytes your title has) and should follow the guidelines of Amazon.


The «Bullet Points»

The Bullet Points are 5 enumerations next to the product picture that should convince your potential buyer to purchase. Again, there are some things to keep in order to be well listed by Amazon.
At the bullet points max. 1000 bytes including spaces can be used. Again, good legibility and an attractive profile must be thought of. This can mean that the individual bullet points have the same length and each enumeration starts with a catchword that awakens the curiosity to read.

Once the potential buyer has clicked on your item, it’s mainly because of your pictures, and from now on, your Bullet Points sales and selling points (USPs) must be convincing, while you add more keywords to give your product visibility.

The Product Description

If you do not have a registered trademark, it is important for you to know that your product description is allowed to contain max. 2000 characters. In the description should be information that you could not address in the bullet points.
It’s an advantage to first briefly describe what the product is, and then briefly list its benefits. The description currently does not get as much “points” from the algorithm as e.g. the bullet points, but it can be very important to your buyer. Especially with high-priced items, everything that the customer can read before a purchase is relevant.

If you have a registered trademark, you can use the so-called A + Content, formerly called Enhanced Brand Content or Brand Detail Page (EBC).
This replaces the description completely and Amazon only shows the A + content. Here, you have the opportunity to insert images as well as more texts and, above all, a beautiful and sales-promoting presentation.

The Product Reviews

Product reviews are one of the key selling points for your customers. Above a certain number of reviews, Amazon measures and weights the quality of the texts and if any pictures were sent.
